I bought a different bike, which I named “Nomad.” After 43,000 kilometres together, I reached a major milestone at the northern edge of my journey. It was time to give my bike a complete makeover with fresh colours and new upgrades, preparing her for another season of adventures. I had travelled through Southern Africa before, but this time I set out to explore North, West, and East Africa.

Unfortunately, my journey was cut short when I crashed in Tanzania, breaking my collarbone and toe. In the end, I shipped Nomad back home to recover and plan the next adventure.
